Nick O’Hern takes firsthand look at world-first synthetic golf course

Australian Open runner-up Nick O’Hern has come on board to lend his considerable support to the innovative team behind www.zilziebay.com.au

O’Hern, who has twice defeated Tiger Woods in head-to-head match-play, took a firsthand look at the rapidly emerging synthetic golf course in late 2007.

And he liked what he saw.

“All the Americans are practicing on synthetic greens but no one has had the guts to use it so extensively, so this is fantastic,” said the 2006 Australian PGA champion.
