As a professional rugby league referee with the National Rugby League (NRL) for 14 years, Tim Mander refereed over 300 first grade games as well as a dozen internationals in countries all over the world. He refereed two Telstra Premiership Grand Finals (2005/06), and was named International Referee of the Year for 2005. Although retired from on-field refereeing, he maintains his connection with the NRL through video refereeing.
In 2005 Tim was named Qld Father of the year.
Currently he serves as the CEO for SU Qld, overseeing the remarkable growth of School Chaplaincy, a service which began in Qld with 7 chaplains in 1990 but has mushroomed into an amazing 500 Qld schools with a chaplain in 2008.
